Good Morning Grace Community!!
I am delighted to be able to announce to you that know Grace Community Church will reopen this Sunday!! I realize the virus has not gone away and many people continue to deal with serious and difficult situations in their lives as a result. For that reason my delight is a bit muted. However, given the circumstances in which we find ourselves, there is gladness in my heart to be able to look forward to in-person worship this Lord’s day! Please know that this decision was not reached without a considerable amount of forethought and planning. You also need to know that the reopening will carry with it special procedures and conditions. Things will look a little different starting with the place where you will enter the building.
It will bolster your confidence to be aware of the thinking and effort that has been transpiring behind the scenes. It will strengthen your enjoyment in returning to have a good handle on the procedures which have been adopted for a safe and cautious return to on-site worship. We have prepared two documents which we encourage you to read. The first covers the results of our recent survey and alerts you to steps we have been taking along the way to insure as safe a worship environment as we can reasonably attempt to provide. The second articulates the procedures and stipulations we will follow in actually re-entering the building for worship. Pastor Ted Groves spear-headed this effort of preparation to return, and I especially want to thank him for that.
Lastly, I know that some of you are not ready to return just yet. Some of you are among those in the higher-risk category and need to avoid crowds. Others may simply have a different opinion of when they ought to re-enter assembling in a large group. We all understand that. We do not want anyone who is concerned about safety and health to feel any pressure. We trust that as things begin to get back on track, the time will come that is right for you in the exercise of your own personal wisdom and discernment. We will continue to live stream; so that option will be available, and we encourage those who are not ready to come back in person to maintain contact in that way.
Again, please read through the two attached documents. Click on the document title to see it.

I wish you all a blessed week.
Grace and Peace,
