Knights of the King's Table
Grace Community Church | 2026-2027
One simply cannot overestimate the importance and power of memorizing scripture. It is crucial to standing against temptation and nourishing both our souls and the souls of each other. Psalm 119:11 says, “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” (ESV). Colossians 3:16 urges us “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another…” (ESV)
Knights of the King’s Table is the scripture memory ministry of Grace Community Church. Each year a different set of memory verses is selected according to a rotating theme. Verses are assigned to the participants in groups of 4 or 5 per month. From September thru March, (except December), we meet for instruction and encouragement and testing of the verses we are memorizing. The season culminates with a scripture memory quiz in March.
Our category this year is marked by the color green, as we are focusing on Prayer.
